The "Shreds" videos, I mean. Have you seen them?
They're hillarious.
What you do is find a video of a guitarist performing live. Preferably a good, or at least popular, artist. You remove the audio from the performance. Add in some ambient clapping and audience noise. But it's got to be restrained - no wild cheering.
Then comes the hard part: you need to record yourself playing (horribly) along with the video as closely as you can. It's only funny if the sound matches the video. For every excellent lick that was actually played, you substitute something the likes of which might be heard in the word's worst music store.
The result? Pure genius.
Most of the musicians have had a good laugh about them. Well, except for Yngwie. He's a little...uptight at times.
